Researching the roots of driver distraction and producing evidence-based education.
The Driving Change team is made up of academic researchers at The Open University. We work collaboratively with researchers from other universities to produce high quality research outputs focused on the issue of driver distraction. We share our research findings and expertise widely and have worked closely with the police, policy makers, road safety charities and members of industry. We are passionate about educating the general public using evidence-based approaches. We regularly attend, and present at conferences, as well as offering expert analysis and comment on distraction-related issues.
